We would like to encourage participation from the following groups:
- People delivering an information service: people providing information portals or hubs, those involved in research reporting, community information workers, information practitioners in networks, librarians.
- Research producers: primarily people from research organisations but also from government bodies and NGOs.
- Academics and practitioners: people with a theoretical or practical role in the role of information, communication and knowledge in policy and practice.
- Research users: particularly those involved in design and implementation of policy and programming eg. Those in public office and NGOs.
Participation in the conference is limited to 120, and we are anticipating a high level of interest. In order to ensure that there is a good balance of participants in terms of the nature of interest, discipline, role, organisation type and country/region, we will review all applications submitted before the 16 May and confirm participation by 21 May.
